About Stephanie Keane

Stephanie Keane is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-MHSP) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who holds a PhD, with experience in the mental health field supporting women and mothers as they better understand themselves and move toward the life they want to live. Whether clients are navigating new motherhood, parenting young children, supporting teens, adjusting to an empty nest, or balancing the many demands of family and personal life, Stephanie strives to provide a supportive space where they feel seen, heard, and empowered. She views therapy as a place to build self-awareness, regulate difficult emotions, and clarify values so clients can make choices that align with who they are and what matters most to them.

Drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Attachment-Based Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy, Stephanie helps clients deepen their connections with others, better understand their emotional experiences, and develop tools to face life's challenges with greater confidence and peace. She specializes in a wide range of maternal mental health areas, including pregnancy loss and termination for medical reasons, prenatal and postpartum anxiety and depression, birth trauma, postpartum OCD and intrusive thoughts, identity loss and matrescence, relationship and intimacy changes after baby, mental load and burnout, and cycle breaking and reparenting. Stephanie is dedicated to normalizing the overwhelming aspects of parenting and supporting each client as they move forward with new insight, practical guidance, and a stronger sense of empowerment.
