Accessibility

Last Updated: July 8, 2026

At Momwell, we believe support for mothers should be within reach of everyone. That includes making our website usable for people of all abilities, and we are committed to continually improving the accessibility of momwell.com.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the widely recognized standard for accessible websites, and to align with the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project, and we review and improve our site on a regular basis.

What we do

As we build and update momwell.com, we work to:

  • Use clear, semantic structure so the site works with screen readers and other assistive technology.
  • Support keyboard navigation throughout the site.
  • Provide descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Maintain readable color contrast and text that resizes without breaking the layout.
  • Design pages that adapt to phones, tablets, and desktops.

Areas we are still improving

Some of our older articles and certain embedded content, such as podcast players and social media posts, come from third parties or predate our current standards and may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively migrating and updating this content, and we prioritize fixes based on the barriers they create.

Tell us if something is not working

If you run into a barrier on our site, or you need information from momwell.com in a different format, please let us know. Email us at hello@momwell.com with the page and the problem you experienced, and we will work to fix it and to provide what you need in a way that works for you. Your feedback helps us make Momwell better for everyone.
