Cassie Bestor is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience in the field of mental health. She has worked with parents and moms in a variety of capacities throughout those years, including residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment, medical social work for families experiencing Neonatal Intensive Care Unit admissions, and most recently, mental health therapy to support moms, parents, and families.

Cassie has been on her own parenting journey for the past ten years with her three children. Parenting has given her invaluable context, compassion, and understanding of the need for support at any point in this journey, from considering it to living it to reflecting on it.

Cassie sees the therapy space as an opportunity to put jumbled thoughts and feelings out into a non-judgmental space, as an entry point to identify emotional and logistical needs. The triggers on a parenting journey can be surprising and overwhelming, and her hope is to normalize and support you wherever you are. Cassie is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and draws on Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy to encourage self-compassion as you grow into this next season.
