Cynthia Castillo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s in Social Work from New York University and over six years of diverse clinical experience. As a Latina therapist, Cynthia is deeply passionate about advocating for BIPOC individuals, ensuring culturally responsive and compassionate mental health care for all.
Certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C), Cynthia has extensive experience supporting pregnant and postpartum individuals, addressing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients process trauma and move toward healing. Cynthia provides a safe, nonjudgmental space, utilizing a trauma-informed and client-centered approach to support individuals on their journey to improved mental health and well-being. As a mother of three, she brings a personal understanding of the complexities of motherhood and is dedicated to providing crucial support during this transformative time.
